Mixed apparatus, mixed level training time with coach supervision and interactive guidance tailored to each student individually.

This class will focus on improving general fitness for aerialists, using a variety of aerial apparatus. Appropriate for students at all levels.

Never tried circus or aerial? This is the place to start! Get a small taste of a variety of apparatuses to get a feel for the art, and maybe find a favorite! Can be taken more than once! Appropriate for absolute beginners of all fitness levels.

Come learn beginner skills on the “soft” apparatus, the fabrics! We’ll cover the basics of aerial silks and hamnmock/sling, also referred to as the “vertical”apparatus.

Come learn beginner skills on the “hard” apparatus made from steel, including trapeze, single point trapeze, and cube!

The Cyr Wheel or the ‘simple wheel’ is an acrobatic apparatus that looks like a giant metal hula hoop–but its use is totally unique! Students stand inside the wheel and spin, roll, glide, and fly across the floor while manipulating the wheel! While tough at first, the Cyr wheel is a great workout for posture, core and balance.

In Beginner Hammock we’ll build on the basics to start building your skills and vocabulary on the hammock (aka sling)! We’ll focus on proper form, conditioning, building stamina in the air, and some fun tricks along the way. Some experience with the basics (inversions, crochets, hip key, aviator, etc.) preferred, but not required.

All levels lyra, from beginner to advanced!

Drop-in mixed-level lyra class for intermediate students ready to start building on foundations to tackle more complex skills working on both the top and bottom of the hoop. Students should have mastery of beginner level skills and strength, and comfortable working on more dynamic movements, including movement the entire apparatus, including in the spansets.

Put those lyra skills you’ve been practicing to work! Come learn some fun choreography, which we’ll build on week-to-week, changing it up every month or so. Learn how to bring it all together with seamless transitions, musicality, and creative expression.

In Beginner Silks we’ll build on the basics to start building your skills and vocabulary on the lovely silks! We’ll focus on proper form, conditioning, building stamina in the air, and some fun tricks along the way. Some experience with the basics (climbing, footlocks, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Students should have some prior trapeze or other aerial experience. Class content and skills will vary depending on experience level of participants. We will explore both single point and static trapeze, building strength and confidence while working on fundamentals, tricks, conditioning, strength and flexibility.

Drop-in intermediate-level trapeze class for students ready to start building on foundations to tackle more complex skills, working on the bar and moving toward more rope work. Students should have mastery of beginner level skills and strength, and e comfortable working on more dynamic movements on all parts of the apparatus.

We all have skills and tricks that frustrate our pursuit of perfection. This class will look at the trouble spots, and workshop solutions and conditioning specific to students attending the class. We’ll work on correcting bad habits, practicing the “scary” stuff, and drilling the tricks that continue to elude us, all while complaining as loudly as we want! This is the “let it all hang out” trapeze class, where we can work it all out among supportive peers.
